Finally the starship Mayflower left Earth. Although they had Warp Drive, the journey took several long minutes. The Pilgrims whiled away the time by playing tunes on their proton guitars, sonic harps and mind flutes:
When they arrived at the new planet the Pilgrims were amazed by the rich abundance of life and good things to eat. There seemed to be no dangers but there were strange life forms, unlike anything they had ever seen before:
It didn’t take long before Andromeda began to feel quite homesick. After a little quarrel with Perseus, however, she resigned herself to stay on the new planet:
